These Terms govern your use of the Penwren app ("Penwren", "the app"), provided by Loved Scents LLC ("we", "us"). By tapping Agree or using Penwren you accept these Terms and the Medical Disclaimer. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
What Penwren is. Penwren is a personal log for recording medications, doses, injection sites, weight and how you feel. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent or monitor any disease, or to provide medical or dosing advice.
Your responsibilities. You are solely responsible for (a) the accuracy and completeness of everything you record, (b) taking your medication exactly as prescribed and following your prescriber's and pharmacist's instructions, and (c) any decisions you make based on information in the app. Penwren does not verify doses. Always consult a qualified health professional about your treatment. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Estimates and reminders. Charts, estimates and reminders are informational only, may be inaccurate or delayed, and depend on your device, settings and notification permissions. Do not rely on Penwren as your only reminder or source of information.
Your data. Your data is stored on your device (and in your private iCloud account if you enable sync). You are responsible for keeping backups and for securing your device. See the Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions. Optional Penwren Pro subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple under Apple's Media Services Terms and Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Trials, renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled by Apple.
No warranty. KEEL IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT DATA WILL NEVER BE LOST.
Limitation of liability. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, HEALTH OUTCOME, OVER- OR UNDER-DOSING, MISSED DOSE, OR LOSS OF DATA ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR US$50 IF GREATER. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
Indemnity. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the app or breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
Changes. We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, Penwren will ask you to review and accept the new version before continuing to use the app.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

A personal log only. Penwren is a personal record-keeping tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, dosing advice, diagnosis or treatment.
No dosing advice. Penwren never calculates, converts, recommends, adjusts or titrates doses, and it does not suggest when to change a dose. Reminders only reflect the schedule you set.
Penwren does not verify your doses. Penwren cannot check whether what you enter is correct, safe or what you actually took.
You are responsible. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your records and for taking your medication exactly as your prescriber and pharmacist instruct. Penwren and its developer are not responsible for any over-dosing, under-dosing, missed or extra doses, or decisions made using the app.
Estimates are not measurements. The medication level chart is an educational estimate based on published averages. It is not a measurement of the medication in your body and must never be used to decide when or how much to take.
If something goes wrong. If you think you took the wrong dose, missed a dose, or have side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist. In an emergency, or if you feel seriously unwell, call your local emergency number (911 in the US) or Poison Control (1-800-222-1222 in the US) right away.
Injection-site suggestions only help you rotate between areas; follow the instructions for your pen or syringe. Medication names are used for identification only. Penwren is not affiliated with or endorsed by any drug manufacturer.
How the medication level estimate works
Penwren uses a standard one-compartment pharmacokinetic model with first-order absorption and elimination (the Bateman function). For each dose you log, it estimates the amount remaining over time, then adds all doses together.
Inputs • The date, time and amount of each dose you logged. • An elimination half-life and an absorption half-life for your medication. Defaults are approximate averages from US prescribing information (for example about 7 days for semaglutide and about 5 days for tirzepatide). You can view and change them in the medication's settings.
What the chart shows The curve is scaled so the highest point in the period is 100%. It shows the shape of rising and falling levels, not a blood concentration. Bioavailability differences (especially for tablets), body weight, kidney function, missed or late doses and individual variation are not modeled.
Limitations Real levels vary widely between people. This estimate is for education and discussion with your care team only. It is not medical advice and must never be used to choose a dose or timing.
