Privacy policy (draft, effective on release)
Penwren is designed so your health information stays with you.
What Penwren stores Medications, doses, injection sites, weights, check-ins (symptoms, protein, water, food notes) and your settings. This data is stored on your device. If you turn on iCloud sync in a future version, it is stored in your private iCloud account, which the developer cannot access.
What Penwren does not do • No account is required and no personal data is sent to the developer. • No advertising, ad tracking, data brokers or sale of data. • No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
Apple Health With your permission, Penwren reads and writes body weight in Apple Health. Health data is used only to provide Penwren's features. It is never used for advertising or marketing, never shared with third parties, and never used for research without your separate, explicit consent.
Backups and exports Automatic backups are saved in Penwren's folder on your device and are included in your device backup. Files you export (CSV, PDF, backup files) go only where you choose to send them.
Purchases Subscriptions are processed by Apple. Penwren receives only the information needed to confirm your subscription, not your payment details.
Deleting your data Delete individual entries in the app, or delete Penwren to remove all of its data from your device. Backup files you exported yourself are not affected.
Children Penwren is not directed to children under 13.
